Meet Our Team

Maretha Saunders

PROPERTY MANAGER
Maretha started an accounting firm in Hermanus in 1994, after studying and gaining some work experience in England. As she built up her business over the years – while raising a son – she branched out into property management, including business and residential letting.

Working closely with Janine, she oversaw large-scale development and renovation projects in Hermanus and found her niche in the luxury accommodation market.

Maretha’s creative energy finds an outlet in the may refurbishing projects she has undertaken for clients. Being a people person, she loves working with both clients and guests and is always prepared to walk the extra mile. Maretha is a registered Principal estate agent.

Janine Bothma

PROPERTY MANAGER
Janine has been involved in the hospitality industry all her working life. She has lived in Hermanus for 20 years, raising a family of two boys and a girl with her husband, who is a member of the Hemel & Aarde winemaking community.

Together with Maretha, Janine has been at the helm of extensive renovation and interior décor projects for local and international clients whose properties they manage as a team.

Specialising in luxury holiday rentals, Janine thoroughly enjoys every aspect of the business, especially meeting and interacting with guests and ensuring that their temporary homes meet with all their expectations. Janine is also a registered Principal estate agent.

Lydia Pass

PROPERTY MANAGER
Lydia is mainly responsible for the smooth running of the administrative side of the business. She is skilled in all aspects of secretarial work. She is a qualified estate agent.

Lydia performs a variety of tasks related to our holiday rental business, from handling bookings, corresponding with clients, managing staff and personally welcoming guests. She likes to give her best, for the joy of seeing happy guests.
